Research highlight
We are interested in cell polarity establishment and cell fate determination
in plants. We aim to elucidate the mechanism of nematode infection from
the point of cell biology by focusing on feeding site formation where vascular
precursor cells are converted into specialized feeding cells. Based on
our knowledge of basic science, we also aim for developing nematode control
methods.
