Announcement of the lecture in English (Subject for English Education/Advanced General Education/Special Program for Foreign Language)
 
Global Joint Education Center for Science and Technology (GJEC) will offer the following lecture in English.
 
【Title】 Exercise of Technical English Ⅱ 「Scientific Communication & Presentation」
※This class will be held by Zoom. We will announce the details on Moodle later.
※Students who will graduate in March 2021 cannot take this class but are welcome to attend as an audit student.
※For students who enrolled in or after 2018, this lecture will be held as one of English Education. (Doctoral students who enrolled in or after 2018 cannot take this class but are welcome to attend as an audit student.)  
※For students who enrolled in or before 2017, this lecture will be held as one of Advanced General Education/Special Program for Foreign Language

【Abstract】 
 Students will gain technical English experience while learning how to highlight global issues and emphasize gaps in current research approaches. In addition to being a crash-course in digital slide-making (animations, smart art and other visual media), the half-week course also teaches students how to draft notes for speaking, deliver an effective talk and constructively critique presentations, including their own.
