We are pleased to announce that JASM, a Semiconductor company, has begun recruiting scholarship students for first-year Master’s program (M1) students in the Graduate School of Science and Technology.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This scholarship will be awarded to M1 students who are expected to contribute to semiconductor-related fields, under the following conditions. Students wishing to apply for the scholarship should fill in the necessary information via the application link provided below.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eligibility:<\/strong> First year Master’s program (M1) students in the Graduate School of Science and Technology (April enrollment M1) who are engaged in research in semiconductor-related fields.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Application Requirements:<\/strong>  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Participation in the JASM Summer Internship. (Scheduled for 3 weeks between August 17 and September 11, 2026)* If you are unable to participate, please contact JASM.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Recommended participation in TSMC Day at Kumamoto University (June 11, 2026) if possible.
    *Award ceremony and gathering scheduled for scholarship recipients on May 29, 2026(attendance is generally required).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Selection Process:<\/strong> JASM will select candidates based on research content and academic performance (document screening, interview).  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Grant Period:<\/strong> First semester and\/or Second semester (maximum of 2 terms: with interim evaluation).  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Grant Amount:<\/strong> 400,000 JPY (per semester) (maximum 400,000 JPY x 2 = 800,000 JPY). No obligation to repay or join the company.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
