CALL FOR PAPERS

International Student Conference on Advanced Science and Technology
ICAST 2008 Kumamoto

　The Global Joint Education Center for Science and Technology (GJEC) of Kumamoto University, Japan is pleased to announce the First International Student Conference on Advanced Science and Technology (ICAST) to be held at the Graduate School of Science and Technology (GSST) of Kumamoto University from March 13 to 14, 2008. This is the first international student conference organized and sponsored by GSST to promote the international exchange among graduate students and young researchers such as post-doctoral fellows in the varieties of fields of advanced science and technology.

　ICAST 2008 will focus on the following fields.

  1. Mathematics and Applied Mathematics
  2. Physics and Applied Physics
  3. Chemistry and Applied Chemistry
  4. Biology and Life Science
  5. Geology
  6. Materials
  7. Computer Science
  8. Energy and Environment
  9. Industrial Applications

　Students working on research subjects related to these fields are highly encouraged to attend the ICAST 2008 and present their studies at oral or poster sessions.

 


Deadlines:
Submission of registration form:  February 1, 2008
Submission of manuscript:  February 18, 2008
