CALL FOR PAPERS

The Third International Student Conference on Advanced Science and Technology
ICAST 2009 Seoul, Korea

　The Global Joint Education Center for Science and Technology (GJEC) of Graduate School of Science and Technology (GSST), Kumamoto University, Japan is pleased to announce the Third International Student Conference on Advanced Science and Technology (ICAST) to be held at Ewha Campus Complex, Ewha Womans University from December 11 to 12, 2009. The third international student conference is organized and sponsored by GSST of Kumamoto University together with Ewha Womans University to promote the international exchange among graduate students and young researchers such as post-doctoral fellows in the varieties fields of advanced science and technology.

　ICAST 2009 Seoul will focus on the following fields.

  1. Mathematics and Applied Mathematics
  2. Physics and Applied Physics
  3. Chemistry and Applied Chemistry
  4. Biology and Life Science
  5. Geology
  6. Materials
  7. Computer Science
  8. Energy and Environment
  9. Industrial Applications

Students working on research subjects related to these fields are highly encouraged to attend the ICAST 2009 Seoul, Korea and present their studies at oral or poster sessions.

October 14, 2009 (Applicants from Kumamoto University)
October 30, 2009 (Applicants from Other Universities)

Deadline for submission of manuscript:
October 30, 2009 (Applicants from Kumamoto University)
November 6, 2009 (Applicants from Other Universities)
Please send the manuscript to icast@jimu.kumamoto-u.ac.jp. To prepare the manuscript, please follow the instructions in the template of a manuscript. The number of pages should not exceed 2.
