The 5th International Student Conference on Advanced Science and Technology
ICAST 2010 Kumamoto, Japan

　The Global Joint Education Center for Science and Technology (GJEC) of Graduate School of Science and Technology (GSST), Kumamoto University, Japan is pleased to announce the 5th International Student Conference on Advanced Science and Technology (ICAST) to be held at Kumamoto University from December 15 to 16, 2010. The 5th ICAST will be organized by GSST of Kumamoto University to promote the international exchange among graduate students and young researchers such as post-doctoral fellows in the varieties fields of advanced science and technology.

　ICAST 2010 Kumamoto will focus on the following fields.

  1. Mathematics
  2. Physics
  3. Chemistry
  4. Earth and Environments
  5. Biological Sciences
  6. Applied Chemistry and Biochemistry
  7. Materials Science and Engineering
  8. Mechanical System Engineering
  9. Computer Science and Electrical Engineering
  10. Civil and Environmental Engineering
  11. Architecture

　Students working on research subjects related to these fields are highly encouraged to attend the ICAST 2010 Kumamoto, Japan and present their studies at oral or poster sessions.

Prepare a 2-page manuscript following instructions in the template.
Figures should be prepared in black and white. Use colors only when absolutely necessary.
Submit a manuscript in both PDF (in press quality, not smallest size) and WORD files.

The official language of the conference is English.
