Global Joint Education Center for Science and Technology (GJEC) will offer the following lecture in English.

 

【Title】 Exercise of Technical English Ⅱ 「Scientific Communication & Presentation」

※For Master students who enrolled in 2018 or later, and doctoral students who enrolled in 2021, this lecture will be held as one of the subjects in English Education. Doctoral students, who enrolled in 2018-2020, cannot register this class, but can join the class as an audit student without the credit.

※For students who enrolled in 2017 or earlier, this lecture will be held as one of the subjects in Advanced General Education/Special program for Foreign Language.

【Abstract】

Students will gain technical English experience while learning how to highlight global issues and emphasize gaps in current research approaches. In addition to being a crash-course in digital slide-making (animations, smart art and other visual media), the half-week course also teaches students how to draft notes for speaking, deliver an effective talk and constructively critique presentations, including their own.
