自然科学教育部学生の皆さんへ（日本人学生のみ／Only for Japanese Students）

自然科学教育部では第20回先端科学技術分野学生国際会議（ICAST 2025）を、11月26-27日に台湾の国立嘉義大学（National Chiayi University, NCYU）で開催します。つきましては、企画・運営を行う学生運営委員を募集します。採択された学生は、ICASTでの発表の他、事前準備、現地での設営、当日運営等ICAST全般の運営業務に、NCYU学生運営委員と共に積極的に携わります。また本派遣プログラムでの研究室訪問や交流イベント等を通じ異文化交流を図ります。
ぜひこの機会を利用して、台湾の学生と協働でICASTを運営してみませんか。多くの応募をお待ちしています。

1. 対象
   自然科学教育部博士前期及び後期課程の日本人学生
2. 募集人数
   14名
3. 支援金額
   JASSO奨学金：8万円
   教育部からの支援：4万円程度
   ※渡航費・宿泊費・運営活動費（謝金）として支援。
   ※上記の教育部からの支援については、帰国後の支給となります。
   ※宿泊は大学内Guest Houseを検討中。一人3～4万円（16日間）（予定）ですが、詳細は後日お知らせします。
4. 派遣プログラム
   期間：2025年 11月20日～12月5日（16日間）
   開催地：国立嘉義大学（台湾、嘉義市）

   ※書類選考後、通過者に対し、面接選考を予定。（後日、連絡します。）
6. 提出書類　　
   ① Application Form
   ② TOEFL、TOEIC、あるいはIELTSスコアの証明書コピー。
   ※ 応募に必要な条件：
   TOEFL-iBT61 点、TOEIC 550 点、あるいは IELTS 5.0 点以上であることが望ましい。
   ※ 2023年4月以降に取得したものが望ましい。
   ※ 申請前に英語スコアを学修成果可視化システム(ASO)に登録すること。
   ③ 成績証明書（前年度の成績が分かるもの）
   ※ 応募には前年度の成績評価係数（JASSOが定める方法による）が2.3以上であること。
   ④ Reallyenglishに登録し、ログイン後のマイページを印刷したもの

To the international students of GSST

Re: Application for student organizing committee of ICAST 2025

GSST will organize the 20th ICAST (International Student Conference on Advanced Science and Technology) 2025 at National Chiayi University (NCYU) in Taiwan on Nov. 26-27, and we’d like to recruit applicants for the student organizing committee members, who will plan and organize the conference. The selected students will be actively involved in the overall management of ICAST with the NCYU student organizing committee members, including advance preparations and on-site set-up and management, in addition to giving presentations at ICAST. The students are required to join the dispatch program shown below, and will have the opportunity to experience cross-cultural exchange through laboratory visits and exchange events as well.
We hope you will take advantage of this opportunity to collaborate with Taiwanese students in the management of ICAST. We look forward to receiving many applications.

1. Qualification:
   International students of Graduate School of Science and Technology who can obtain a visa for the program. Exchange students are not eligible to apply.
2. Financial support from GSST:
   About 120,000 JPY/ per person
   Five students (subject to change)
   *Support will be reimbursed after returning to Japan.
   *Accommodation: Guest House on campus is now being considered (tentatively, 30,000~40,000 JPY per person for 16 days). Details will be given later.
3. Program:
   Period: November 20 to December 5, 2025 (16 days)
   Venue: National Chiayi University (Chiayi, Taiwan)

Requirements after the program
– Give a presentation at a debriefing meeting of international activities.
– Submit a report.
– Submit an English score taken within 6 months after return and register it in ASO.
