第20回先端科学技術分野学生国際会議 ICAST 2025 における発表者の募集について（通知）
第20回先端科学技術分野学生国際会議（The 20th ICAST 2025 Chiayi）の開催が決定しましたので、お知らせします。自然科学教育部では、学生の実践力及び英語によるコミュニケーション能力強化を図るため、2008年に第1回ICAST熊本を開催し、以降、海外交流協定校の協力を得て、熊本以外では、北京、ソウル、イズミール(トルコ)、山東(中国)、クレルモンフェラン(フランス)、スラバヤ、マカッサル(インドネシア)、高雄、台北(台湾)、マニラ(フィリピン)で開催してきました。ICASTは学生による学生のための国際会議です。英語での研究成果発表を行うとともに運営にもかかわることができます。
今回は台湾の国立嘉義大学にて開催いたします。海外の学生と交流し、国際経験を積む非常によい機会ですので、積極的な参加をお願いします。

＊中国籍の学生はビザの関係で現地での参加ができません。オンラインセッションを12月上旬に予定していますので、発表を希望する方は、上記のサイトから登録してください。日程については後ほど連絡します。中国籍以外の熊大生は現地での参加のみとします。

The 20th International Student Conference on Advanced Science and Technology
（The 20th ICAST 2025 Chiayi）
We are pleased to inform you that the 20th International Student Conference on Advanced Science and Technology (ICAST 2025 Chiayi) is going to be held at National Chiayi University (NCYU). GSST started ICAST in 2008 to give students more opportunities for international experiences and to promote collaboration with overseas partner universities. Previous conferences took place in Peking University, Ewha Womans University, Ege University, Shandong University, University of Seoul, University of Clermont Auvergne, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology, De La Salle University, Hasanuddin University, and National Taiwan Normal University as well as in Kumamoto University. ICAST is an international conference organized by students for students. You will present your research in English and also have an experience to run the ICAST as a student organizing committee.
This is a very good opportunity to interact with students from overseas and gain international experiences. We are looking forward to having many applicants who would like to get involved in this event!

*Note: Due to a visa issue, if you have a Chinese citizenship, you may not attend ICAST on-site. Instead, the online session will be organized in early December. If you would like to give a presentation in the online session, register from the above ICAST HP. The date will be informed later. KU students other than Chinese students should apply for the on-site conference.
